Day 62 – music

Before anyone gets carried away, I don’t play the piano. The only thing I play that music comes out of is my iPod 🙂

But I love music. I almost literally have music playing ALL the time. I can’t cook without it, work without it, write without it, play table tennis without it, drive without it (you get the idea).

I love it. I love nearly every style (not fussed on screamer bands for example) and have no shame in singing and dancing enthusiastically no matter where I am or who’s around.

I’m so grateful for those who make music. They are truly giving something incredible and I don’t know what I’d do without their gifts.

  1. I like most all of it too, except rap. I don’t get that crap at all! I was raised on big bands (Mom and Ang were born in the same hometown as the Dorsey Bros!). Bing Crosby. Perry Como. I had influences from older brothers – from the Beatles, Lovin’ Spoonful, Mamas and the Papas, then into Jethro Tull and Lynyrd Skynryd (sp?) I loved John Denver, Jim Croce, James Taylor. I had a few years of defiance with Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and such. And I am one of the few people who will admit, “I still love Disco!”
