It’s been a lovely few days, which started perfectly with wine, cheese, crackers and antipasto on the deck with our neighbours, then it was a garden project on Saturday, church related activities on Sunday, including one of our favourites – young adults bible study, and after work today, we finished off the garden project and planted the herbs into their new beds. All in all a most satisfying four days for which I am grateful 😊
This evening we took a country drive in hopes a great view of the super moon. It didn’t turn out quite as planned but was lovely nonetheless 😊 And the Polaroid camera just did not pick up the moon at all! Oh well.
Grateful for all the marvels of His creation!
Grow where you’re planted. This little guy called Basil popped up in a nearby pot after I pulled the remains of the dead shallots out.
Lesson: even if it feel like you’ve been put in the wrong circumstances, grow. Even if it feels like your existence is an accident, grow. Even if there’s no one else around who’s anything like you, grow. Fight for your spot in the world. The Giver of all life sees you, planted you right where you are and gives you all you need to thrive. So grow!
Grateful for assurance of divine purpose and reason for being.
On Saturday I was blessed to spend another day serving and listening to carers – the true unsung heroes of this world. I will never not be grateful for this privilege.
Yesterday, we had lunch and whiled away an afternoon with two of our favourite people. Two of the strongest, wisest, kindest people I’ll ever have the blessing to know. Sometimes I can’t quite believe how many extraordinary people are in my life.
